Black and White

In a world overflowing with endless color, its vibrance can sometimes feel overwhelming. Stripping things down to the simplicities of black and white offers a more direct way to experience and interpret the world being seen.

My first few rolls of black and white film reinforced the importance of framing and composition. When the ability to rely on color falls to the way side, every element within the frame carries more weight. It forces you to slow down, observe more carefully, and be intentional with each shot. And in the end, this is what photography is all about.
